Leading a tai-tai life on Sunday

First stop-over for tea @ Crystal Jade restaurant

This is what the Chinese will have for afternoon tea :)

Went shopping crazily like a young girl.
And we really got quite a bit of stuff for ourselves.
Pleased!

Dinner at Ion Orchard - Paradise Dynasty

Highly recommended for its unique dish - Colourful Xiao Long Bao $13.80

The dumplings come in 8 different flavours and are recommended to be eaten in the following sequence shown on the menu.

The colours look appealing.
However, not all 8 flavours are tasty.
You must try the dish with a very opened heart (receptive and adventurous).

Chef's recommendation - La Mian with Sliced Pork $9.80
The soup is tasty and the noodles are Q-Q.

Wok-fried Rice with Egg $6.80
Not recommending this dish as the rice is tasteless.
The one selling at Ding Tai Feng is a lot tastier than this!

Soup Shanghai Rice Flour Cake $7.50

Beijing Pork Dumplings $4.80 - Likes

Pan-fried Pork Dumplings $3.60
I'm usually not a fan of "guo-tie" but the ones Paradise Dynasty served are fantastic! With a bit of soup, thin dough skin and tasty meat fillings, worth the money!
