Boxing Day

Met the gorgeous ladies for a post-Christmas lunch - 3 short 1 @ Sushi Tei

Jiamin and ME - had a blue dress on me which doesn't suit my usual style. Kinda regret?

Meiru and Christina

As usual, we ordered many dishes to share.
Some dishes are the common ones we always had, some dishes are just new and ordered by ME.

Sashimi salad with Sushi Tei dressing

Jiamin's scallop + egg rice

Meiru's favourite Fried Gyoza, anywhere and everywhere.

Sushi Tei Mango roll

My main course - Nokkemori ($20)which consists of Salmon Roe, Raw Scallop, Sea Urchin, Minced Tuna on cucumber maki.

Something new and weird - Nothing's wrong trying new things, agree? :)

Comments of the new dish after tasting:
ME : Salmon roe never fails to surpise me whenever I bite and it pops in my mouth.
OTHERS: Ok, normal to the taste buds.

ME : Raw scallop is damn raw and chewy. I decided to shabu-shabu it.
OTHERS : Rubber bands, eeks!

ME : The sea urchin tastes buttery like avocado! I finally know how it tastes!
OTHERS : *Tasted a little, spat out, drank lots of water*

ME : Minced tuna, really reminds me of minced raw meat, just that I have not tasted it before.
OTHERS : *Tasted a little, spat out, drank lots of water* *curse and swear*

Group pico :)

The best pico shot as evidence of the great amount of food we ordered....
Note: We are always cautious of the thought of the hunger faced in other countries, hence we have finished all the food we ordered. We have not wasted food :)
