Mummy's XXth birthday

Mummy is one year older!
Gotten her birthday cake from Awfully Chocolate.
And I find the handwriting on the cake is awful.

Mummy and all her 24hrs kids on the sofa.
Her real kids were feeling very lazy to change into nice clothes for a pico-taking.

Happy birthday Mummy!
May you stay pretty always and stop ageing!

Genting + KL with Family

A short holiday with Daddy, Mummy, Ah Gong and Aunt Alice over in Genting from Thursday - Saturday.

Went by Korsotium coach for approximately 5-6 hours ride starting 7.30am.
Waited to check into First World Hotel for 1.5 hours.

Ah Gong and Mummy

ME and Aunt Alice

My first meal in Genting Highlands - Fried Kway Teow at the bus terminal

Sharing room with Mummy and Daddy - no choice cos we went as an odd-number group.

The scenic view from the room at Tower 2, level 2.

Took the free shuttle van to Mushroom Farm for our early dinner

Seafood Hor Fun

Fried vegetables - so fresh looking!

Mixed Mushrooms with Scallops

Chef's Recommendation - Signature Fried African Fish
I love the yellow floss - no idea what they are exactly made of.

While waiting for the van to send us back to First World Hotel, we decided to cam-whore. Haha!

Many statues were at the Mushroom Farm and we took many picos such as the below:

Friday Morning air was great.

I bravely brought mummy, ah gong and aunt alice to Kuala Lumpur on my own.
LOL, just because I had been to KL a couple of times, I thought I would be a good tour guide.

An hour bus-ride down to KL and a few LRT stops away top Royal Bintang.

Our first lunch stop - Lot10 @ Royal Bintang
The air-conditioned food court was opened early 2010 and served all the various famous Malaysia and Singapore delights.
The food place resembles a lot like Food Republic in Singapore.

I would not recommend this place as the food aren't authentic and tasty, yet expensive.

Char Siew + Duck + Roasted Pork noodles

Hokkien Mee

Popiah

Under my recommendations, we proceeded to take the public transporations to the various places I've planned previously.

A public toilet I chanced upon - looks pretty high class!

At KL LRT station - Kelana Jaya line

We headed to KLCC which is where we can take pico of the Petronas Towers.
Yes, we did a lot of walking just to get there as we changed trains a couple of times.

There you go, pico taken, no need to go KL again cos there's simply too much walking to be done. (unless you are including CAB/taxi as public transportations)

I'm still attracted to the same ceiling at KLCC.
Star? Bomb? Flower? You decide.

Tea Break was at Madam Kwan's, the famous Nasi Lemak Restaurant.

Nasi Lemak RM15.30 to share

Appetizer - Otah Otah RM18+

Ice Campur RM6.90

Overall verdict: Standard of food served has dropped.

Proceeded to KL Chinatown, had the famous Longan drinks and faced with a sudden heavy downpour within 10 minutes. Spoiler!

And thank goodness we were able to change our bus tickets from 6pm to 5pm, heading to Genting Highlands from KL Sentral.

Awaited 45 minutes for the 5pm bus to come...
Mummy was proud of the cheap and good fruits she had gotten from Chinatown.

Back to Genting Highlands at about 7 plus...

Found Daddy and we all headed down to Mushroom Farm for late dinner

Went for a walk, continued our games in Casino, went back to Hotel to rest early...

Mummy and the Merry-Go-Round

I made Ah Gong to take a rest on the bench with a main motive - to take a pico!

Trip ended well on Saturday with me contributing money to the Malaysia economy (what's new?).

Granny's 72th birthday + Resorts World Mini Tour

Granny celebrated her 72th birthday at Plaza Singapura - Crystal Jade.
With the presence of Grandpa, 10 adults and 8 grandchildren, we occupied 2 tables of the restaurant.

Food pico taken from the Kids' table:

Fried String Bean in Shrimp Paste $10.80

My main course - Soya Chicken Noodles (Dry) $7.00

1/2 Roasted duck to share at promotional rate $26.80 with 4 steamed scallops to go with

Wanton Soup $7.00

Cereal Prawns $18.00 (300g)

Shrimp paste chicken wings $5.50

Cousin Quan Quan made the durian ice-cream cake herself.

Sing the birthday song, make a long list of wishes, blow the candles out :)
The cake tasted ok with the biscuit base which I like!

After the dinner, Daddy drove mummy, Zhuangyi and ME to RESORTS WORLD to see see.
Yes, the new place which was opened for quite some time and it's only my first time there.

Expensive car park charges

I simply hate the ruling of Singaporeans / Permanent Residents having to pay $100 as entrance fee to the casino for 24 hours.

I'm so tempted to see how the very first Singapore casino looks like, but yet can't bear to speand the $100 which I strongly believe - can never be recoup back as winnings.

Pico of Mummy with the lighted ceilings - I like.

The lobby of one of the many hotels at Resorts World Sentosa.

Adam and Eve, beautifully naked.

Some water and fire performance in the public area.

Candylicious!
Loves to have a tree that really grows all kinds of chocolates and candies!

Hi5 to the Jelly Beans!

Chocolate - Eat and Be Happy! :D

A bar of Hershey's to last for months, slurps!

And by the way, those places I had explored were FOC (free of charge) as I did not pay cover charge into the casino or Universal Studio.

We were just exploring the public area and paying carpark charges :)
