Acted like tourists for a day....!
First, both DearBoy and I checked out the City Square Mall.
It is located at Kitchener Road and supposedly the only Eco mall in Singapore.
By being an eco mall, the air conditioner within the mall loses out to other shopping malls.
Taken the information TV at the mall's open space outside Macs.
After which, we both went to experience the Circle Line.
The Cirle Line links up many other new mrt stations which make travelling so much easier in this tiny dot country.
Alighted at Promenade Station and followed the crowd in walking to MARINA SANDS.
The Helix Bridge and The Marina Sands
Project completing in phases...
The Singapore Flyer and the Helix Bridge
Formerly know as Double Helix before it was built.
Took many pico from the Helix Bridge of the city view...
The Floating Platform, where National day and other events hold...
Plus a bit of the Esplanade (one durian shell)...
Walking on the Helix Bridge towards Marina Sands...
The blurry spot was due to some unknown x in my camera lens.
No longer there now since I've gotten it repaired under warranty :)
Overview of the Central Business District far far away and the Singapore River.
Credits ALL to DearBoy for taking ALL these picos in today's entry :)
The Shoppes (new mall which comprises of the 2nd newly opened Casino)
The mall is not completed fully as well.
But the casino is up and running and seemed to attract many people.
Waiting for a table at Joaquim for our steamboat buffet...
Oh yeah, pre-advance order Jay Chou's 10th CD album!
And, simply can't wait for his concert in July!!!
Going with my colleagues and DearBoy!
