Thanks Dear for the expensive dinner treat :D
DearBoy was lucky to get a table reservation in the early afternoon.
And I never knew that the restaurant is so personalized...
My name was printed on the menu and the table was decorated with party bits!
And I was being nice to DearBoy, accommodated with the fake candle light.
Lol.
First up, bread that is huge!
Ok, the angle which I took this pico played a bit of trick too.
Morton's Signature Salad (my set meal)
The brown thingy is actually salted fish. Interesting combination.
Colossal Shrimp Alexander; Double Cut Filet Mignon (my set meal)
The beef was thick and tender. The prawns were big and juicy.
DearBoy's main course and only dish - Cajun Ribeye Steak, USDA Prime ($89)
His was more flavoured and the texture tasted like chicken.
Though not as thick as mine, his was big and wide.
*roll my eyes* my vocabulary is just so limited.
Jumbo Baked Idaho Potato
The potato was the size of my palm, exciting!
The after-meal pico taken by the waiter who took the initiative to offer help :)
Morton's Hot Chocolate Cake (complimentary for my birthday)
It's worth paying $25 as they started baking when you order, hence you will have to order right at the start of the meal.
DearBoy and I and my birthday cake :)
Look at the warm chocolate that was about to ooze out. *drooling*
The waiters sang me a birthday song and gave me a birthday card, surprise!
Yes, that explained why the manager used her camera to take a shot of us.
Hmmm...
I was so satisfied from the meal.
Yes, that's the best steak I've eaten so far. :)
The birthday specials - name on menu, complimentary cake, sing song, photograph card, it was a good and enjoyable birthday dinner, all thanks to DearBoy.
And I guess, he had to eat grass for the rest of the month for paying this meal :p
