Rare Sunday spent together

Saturday was my self revision day while his soccer match game on TV.

Met up on Sunday for a movie at Vivocity.

The iPhone gamer, while waiting for the movie theatre to open for seating.

Camwhore!

Movie Shutter Island is good!
I like how the story twists and makes me think during and after the show :)

Popped over to St James Power Station to support Grace's Car Boot Sale.

Taken while waiting for bus to come..
Popped by Bugis to buy HK desserts back to his home.

Had Vinegar pig trotters for dinner at his place.
Yeah! Good filling dinner + dessert...
And after which, watched the Star Awards Presentation and headed home myself at 11pm.

Super bad migraine at work

Was at my desk looking at the computer screen doing my work.
My vision suddenly blurred and I see lights images.
I know something isn't right.

Went downstairs to rest my eyes and to get rest air for 10 minutes.
Got back to my desk, not feeling any way better.

My neighbour was drinking hot milo and the smell pissed me off.
I felt naseuous, my eyes couldn't focus, my right head hurt like mad.

Office msn my supervisor that I'm not feeling well and request for urgent half day leave.
Headed to the toilet and I was stucked there for 20 minutes.
Yes, lots of vomitings done.
All water and no food particles at all.

Left office shortly in dad's cab...
30minutes ride back to Yishun on the rainy afternoon.
Puked a bag full of water before alighting the car.

HOW EXCITING!

The doctor's advise: Have lots of rest and eat more good food.

He actually started small talks with me, asking about my job, the salary etc.
OMFG. Can someone ask him to shut up? I need painkiller badly as the nerves in my head kept stretching and it's bloody painful.

The End, and I'm really resting and eating a lot of good food as per his advise.

* Anyway, I do know what will happen after all the blurred visions.
Somehow or rather, it's happening to me since young.
Well, well, call it stress or insufficient rest or even a timebomb in the head,
I don't know what exactly is wrong there.

The unlucky evening after work

The negative points about working Asia hours:

- You do not get the London shift allowance;
- You are exposed to the hot sun and massive lunch crowd in the afternoon;
- You have to brave the sudden rain storm after work.

AND, on top of the above 3 points, I faced the below today (eeks!):

- Fire alarm went off when I was about to leave office;
- Climb 9 storey of stairs down to lobby to see the heavy rain;
- Walked to the MRT station, stepping into almost all rain puddles;
- Looked super unglam wearing my office slippers while waiting for the train at Raffles Mrt;
- Hands filled with big umbrella, 2 cups of hot tea, a plastic bag with my red heels in it;
- My face was super black plus I was running late for my class;
- My usual 2nd row seats were taken and I had to sit at the 3rd row;
- I kept yawning in class, opening my mouth like a hippo like nobody's business;
- SMS for a cab and gotten a Merc cab which cost more than the usual fare;
- The journey home was tedious as the gel fragrances were so intense that I felt nauseous.

Then again, reached home to have home-made shark fins soup made me feel SO much better!

Good night World.

A warm welcome to the FIRST post

Welcome back to MY blog :)

...if you had actually followed me since http://jiiakhee.blogspot.com/...

It's been a long while -I last blogged on February 20th.
I actually blogged from August 2005 - February 2010, max out the 1024MB limit.

No choice, I have to switch to another account, http://www.blogger.com/ again.
I guess this blog will last for another 3-5 years,
Depending on the amount of words I type and items I upload?

A quick summary of events for the month of March:

Claudine & Sylus Farewell Lunch+Beer on a Saturday afternoon

Their farewell drinking session at Harry's@The Sail,
One day before their flight to London for permanent job roles.

Sushi Tei dinner with the ladies - Jiamin and Meiru

Yes, I mean, a FEAST for just 3 ladies who had past puberty age.

While DearBoy was away in Belgium for his work trip, I secretly made a huge decision to cut my hair.
Yes, not just usual trimmings. I chose to have my fringe cut.

A bad surprise as I have to spend time styling it before heading out.
Plus, it's a thick curtain of hair, causing my forehead to perspire more!
Well, well well....

And a FYI.
I'm currently attending bridging classes for the UOL degree I've applied.
If I passed both bridging modules, I can skip year 1 and proceed on with 2 and 3.
Save time and money, but, too early to comment much though.
We shall see...
